New Pacifism and the Challenge of East-West Reconciliation
A New Journey to Peace through Support and Service
Much work remains to be done to achieve true peace and harmony between East and West. Currently, each community is cultivating reconciliation and peace on a local level, and we have yet to reach a universal ideological environment that could be called a "new pacifism." A reorganization of values is so necessary that even religious views require a reinvention.
However, spreading only the advantages of a select few to the world while leaving behind those less fortunate in knowledge and opportunity will never lead to true peace. There are still many people in society who lack the opportunity to learn, remaining ignorant and powerless. We share the destiny of walking alongside these people, and we cannot escape that responsibility.
That is why we devote our entire daily work to providing as much support and service as possible. Aiming for a society in which each individual can live with dignity, we continue to seek new forms of peace that transcend division through education, dialogue, and mutual understanding. We will not stop, believing that the small steps we take here will eventually lead to global reconciliation.

西洋と東洋の真の融和平和には、いまだ多くの課題が残されています。現在は、それぞれの地域社会ごとに融和と平和を育てている段階であり、世界共通の「新平和主義」と呼べる思想環境には到達していません。宗教観さえも再創造が求められるほど、価値観の再編が必要とされています。
しかし、知識や機会に恵まれない人々を置き去りにしたまま、一部の優位性だけを世界へ広めることは、決して真の平和にはつながりません。社会には、いまだ学ぶ機会を得られず、無知・無力のまま取り残されている人々が数多く存在します。私たちは、この方々と共に歩み続ける運命を分かち合っており、その責任から逃れることはできません。
だからこそ、私たちは「できる限りの支援と奉仕」を軸に、日々の営みのすべてを捧げています。一人ひとりが尊厳をもって生きられる社会を目指し、教育・対話・相互理解を通じて、分断を超えた新たな平和のかたちを模索し続けています。ここから始まる小さな一歩が、やがて世界規模の融和へとつながることを信じて、私たちは歩みを止めません。
